Fujitsu Palm Vein

Dynamic progress in biometrics in last years is inherently connected with rapid computerization. Lately PCs have brought power necessary for dealing with pattern matching and all other calculations connected with biometric-based authorization or recognition. However, most of the computer-added biometric recognition methods are one to one copies of methods existing for centuries. The best example is fingerprint based recognition. Computer makes the comparison process faster and more accurate, yet the method itself remains unchanged. On the other hand some of the solutions are connected with computers so closely, that their existence without them would not be possible. The reason for it is simple – analyzed body part is hard to describe with traditional methods. One of them was retinal scan – milestone in biometrics, because it was the first device ever analyzing the inner part of our body. However such scanners are large, expensive and not easy to operate.

The device we sell an use in our systems – Fujitsu Palm Vein scanner is one of the most modern biometric devices. The device gather the data without physical contact with the analyzed body part (for example hand), analyzing the blood flow in the vein system. Because its usage is very hygienic and the device is not being smudged by users touching it, it is perfect for scanning large number of people. The device ban be bought as a stand alone device connected via USB port or as a part of EBR biometric system. In first case the device can easy be used as a login control device for Windows. The scanning process is much faster then using popular fingerprints scanners and much more reliable.

Palmed

Palmed system allows contact less registration for patients in medical centres. The system allows completely safe biometric data management. The patterns are stored on server, however the authorization process is really fast and takes up to a few seconds. Because of use of the FIbase the system does not require expensive databases and servers to be bought, installed and configured. The FIbase based solution has been tested for up to 1000000 people authorization on a single server! The integration with existing systems is possible.
